Legend of Malin Kundang

Malin Kundang is folklore that originated from the province of West Sumatra, Indonesia. Malin Kundang legend tells of a rebellious child to his mother and therefore cursed into stone. A form of rock on the beach Sweet Water, Padang, said to be the remains of the ship Malin Kundang.
